Nanami’s approach to therapy is gentle, nonjudgmental, and encouraging. She cares deeply about her clients and strives to make them feel seen, understood, and less alone. She has experience supporting individuals in various areas, including anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, explorations around identity, and neurodiversity. She also has experience providing play- and arts-based therapy to children and adolescents.
As a biracial and bicultural Japanese-Canadian, Nanami recognizes that one’s social location shapes the way we navigate the world. She hopes to empower clients by connecting their personal challenges to systemic issues and cultural narratives. She strongly believes that clients are the experts of their own lives and approaches sessions with curiosity and collaboration. Nanami looks forward to walking alongside you on your journey and offering a safe and affirming space for self-exploration.
